Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming Website Design Project

The Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming (CACW) is dedicated to providing resources and support for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. As a Chapter of the National Children's Alliance, CACW represents three separate agencies within Wyoming: Casper's Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming (CAP), The Hirschfield Center for Children in Jackson, and Safe Harbor in Cheyenne. The project aimed to create a responsive CMS website to help the public easily find and access child abuse prevention resources in their community.

Our Contributions:

  • Design: Developed a user-friendly and responsive design that ensures accessibility across all devices, making it easy for users to navigate and find information.
  • Content Creation: Created informative and engaging content focused on child abuse and neglect prevention resources, detailing the services offered by each of the three agencies.
  • Image Editing: Edited and optimized images to complement the website’s content and enhance the visual appeal, ensuring a professional and inviting appearance.
  • Key Features: Resource Directory: Implemented a comprehensive directory of prevention resources, allowing users to quickly locate relevant services in their community. Agency Information: Developed dedicated sections for each of the three agencies, providing detailed information about their programs, services, and contact details. SEO Optimization: Incorporated relevant keywords to improve the website’s visibility in search engine results, helping more people find the resources they need. Responsive Design: Ensured the website is fully responsive, providing a seamless user experience on both desktop and mobile devices.

The new website enhances CACW’s ability to provide critical resources and support to communities across Wyoming. By offering a responsive and user-friendly platform, the website ensures that individuals seeking help can easily find the information they need. The SEO optimization increases the site’s visibility, driving more traffic and raising awareness about the importance of child abuse and neglect prevention.
